What Others Say

Dr Steve Lai
CEO, PSB Academy
(Mar 2010):
“The experiential Clay LEGO workshop was an excellent and refreshing idea in helping us achieve the aim of internalising our new set of core values and with a great impact at that. Besides providing the perfect opportunity for team bonding, it also enabled us to discover hidden talents and sides of colleagues which we did not know previously. It will certainly be something etched in our minds for a long time to come.”

Mr Robert Piazza
Head of Learning & Development, Japan
Deutsche Bank
(Jan 2010):

"The teambuilding session with the Clay Street crew provided an excellent opportunity for our regional team to get to know each other at a level we never thought possible. The creation of our art was pure enjoyment, but it was team's creativity during the presentation portion that induced a spell of uncontrollable laughter from most of us! Two hours well spent with plenty of memories that will last a long time."
- Rob Piazzas

HSA (Nov 08):
"StoneEdge has brought about a different level of experience in terms of teambuilding and cohesion. The whole organisation and facilitation of the various activities was excellent throughout the day. All participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves with the activities."
"The whole event on that day was interesting... A lot of fun and physical exercises were generated from the activities which were organised by StoneEdge. Thanks for the effort made by you and your team."
"Good guidance along the way. A sense of community service, contributing to the society while having fun activities."

"Thanks to StoneEdge, we were brought to different centres and learnt about the services provided to different groups of people in the community. It was a great learning experience for me"

DFO-MINDEF (Sep 08):
"One of the best and most memorable team building events..."
"Effective event to bond DFOians together and strengthen our spirits..."
"...brought out the hidden talents that were not discovered before..."

Corporate Social Integration & Team Building

Stone Edge has been designing and conducting experiential team building programs for corporates since 1995. In the early years, we specialized in adventure-based programs that incorporated rock climbing, camping, orienteering, outdoor cooking, pioneering projects, and sophisticated round-island amazing races. Then we progressed into art-based team bonding programs using pottery, mosaic and music. In our recent years, we have incorporated a meaningful dimension of social awareness, of doing good, in the design of our team building programs.

Our strength is in our passion in bonding people, our creativity in designing impactful experiences, and our accummulated experiences and expertise in this specialized field.

Our programs are highly experiential in nature because the most powerful form of learning comes from personal experiences. We design interesting challenges that require team-based solution and encourage creative energies and physical interaction. Participants will discover about themselves, and appreciate their team mates in the process of working towards the same goal. We facilitate discussion to relate their experiences and lessons learnt to their work environment and dynamics.

Some Team Building Ideas...

Teamwork through
CLAY ART CO-CREATIONS

Team members work together to express corporate vision/values and co-create mugs or artistic sculptures that they can proudly display at their workplace. They will be guided on the use of various arts media such as clay, paper, molds and colors.

Takeaways: participants will discover own creative talents and the permanent nature of their art pieces will anchor their new found belief at their workplace.

Coconut tree climbing, reinvented Teamwork through
OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

This is an adventure camp in a rustic resort built in a coconut plantation in West Malaysia, overlooking the vast expanse of the South China Sea.

Teams will experience nature and rediscover childhood fun in a team setting - climbing coconut trees, fish trapping at low tide, and crossing river with ropes and poles. There'll be quiet times for bonding.

Make-do, innovate, adapt... Teamwork through
OUTDOOR COOKING

Teams will whip up delicious gourmet dishes to compete with each other. The catch is they all start with limited "money" to buy, bid or trade for raw food, spices, utensils, cutlery and gas stoves. The game is more than mere cooking. It stretches the team's planning ability, creativity and speed of execution.
